Your Madison Area Custom Home Builders
The Urso Builders team is made up of experienced building professionals that are deeply involved in the Madison custom home building and remodeling community. Kevin Urso, founder and owner of Urso Builders has his roots in McFarland, WI. Kevin is a state-licensed dwelling contractor and has been building in McFarland and the surrounding area for over 25 years. Kevin attended UW-Whitewater and earned a degree from Madison Business College. A long-standing member of the Madison Area Builder Association, Kevin is also a member of the Wisconsin Builders Association, the National Association of Home Builders, and the McFarland Chamber of Commerce.
Brad Burrs, Director of Construction for Urso Builders, earned his degree from UW-LaCrosse. Brad is a state-licensed dwelling contractor that brings over 25 years of experience to every project with his early roots in framing. He is a trusted and respected member of the local building community and was voted in as the 2021 Madison Area Builder Association President by his peers in the industry. Brad also sits on the MABA Board of Directors as well as the Government Affairs Committee.
Brad and Kevin believe that the ultimate goal of custom home building and remodeling is to achieve their clients’ dreams while exceeding their expectations. You will find both Kevin and Brad highly accessible and willing to communicate, coach, and educate at every step of the building process.
Kevin and Brad are supported by internal administrative staff. Administrative staff communicates with clients to ensure that selections are made in a timely manner that supports the build timeline. They also work with clients on their selections and vendors to ensure budgets are respected and goals are met.
Eileen Urso is also a Licensed Realtor that has assisted clients in the buying and selling of homes throughout the greater Madison area. A trusted resource in today’s fast-paced marketplace, Eileen is an excellent resource for clients in the market for a buildable lot.
Urso History
For over 25 years, Urso has been a prominent name in the McFarland, WI building community. Starting originally as Urso Bros., in 1997, the company developed a 120-acre parcel of land called Parkview Estates. Here, Urso Bros. built over 100 homes for individuals and families in McFarland, WI. In the last decade, Urso Bros. has grown to include projects throughout Dane County and the greater Madison area.
In 2022, Urso Bros. became Urso Builders, a name that describes what we do best: build and remodel quality, custom homes throughout Dane County and beyond. Urso Builders continues the work of putting clients’ needs first and creating lasting custom homes, additions, and remodel projects. Urso Builders is honored by the trust our clients have placed in us over the last 25 years and we look forward to serving our community for years to come.
Urso Community
The Urso Family donated 40 acres to the Village of McFarland for the creation of the John Urso Dog Park. The dog park is a popular place for community members to gather and exercise. Urso Builders values its ties to the local community and are happy to serve its members and their furry friends.
